Jonar 2012-2017

Jonar Systems is a company that, in 2012, had an outdated ERP software (JAS) that needed to be replaced with an entirely new product that would be named ParagonERP. I started as an intern and finished as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO). I offer a more detailed version of my journey in the "Story" section. The product today generates about $3M in revenue per year.

- Created a prototype of a Qlikview dashboard with data from JAS:
  - Exported and cleaned data from JAS
  - Created several common reports

2013: Scrum master / JS developer
- Coordinated tasks in agile-scrum
- Validated technical design and UX documents
- Developed in JS

2014: Database Architect / Scrum Master / JS Developer
- Created a normalized database with Postgres that could offer a high level of flexibility for adding fields in real-time, according to client needs
- Continued responsibilities of Scrum Master/JS developer

2014: Technical Director / Architect / Scrum Master / JS Developer
- Applied for RS&DE grants from the Government of Canada for millions of dollars

Jonar Labs 2018-2023

At the time of seeking my next challenge, Jonar offered me to start a research laboratory. We named it Jonar Labs. Key achievement: I provided a fully functional prototype of a fully decentralized medical data app, we had discussions with several key players in the field, including Pfizer. Unfortunately, our new investors decided not to continue with the project and to close Jonar Labs in a few months.

2018 - 2020: General Manager / Architect / Developer (before Jonar Medical)

- Crypto Exchange: We launched a crypto exchange integrated with the Interac system. I created the application architecture in nodeJS/HTML5/MongoDB. I personally wrote a large portion of this code. With the crypto crash in 2017, we abandoned it.
- Bitcoin Lightning Hub: We wanted to focus on more structural blockchain projects and move away from cryptos. We designed a project to create a layer 2 network by grouping semi-centralized nodes to reduce the cost of Bitcoin transactions. We abandoned it upon realizing that the project would be difficult to execute without significantly more funding.

2020 - 2023: General Manager, Architect / Developer, Jonar Medical

- Jonar Medical was an idea with a (probably too) huge scope. We wanted to use blockchain to make medical data completely decentralized. We also wanted to give patients total control of their medical data.
- Extensive development in React
- Architecture / development in nodeJS
- Architecture / development in Web3
- Architecture / development of a completely decentralized database with Storj.io
- Technology strategy
- Product management
